Participants create their own commemorative plate to honour their legend and hero.
This event is inspired by Nigerian-born, British artist, Mary Evans’ use of paper-based materials and her installation, Recollective Plates, currently on view in her solo exhibition 'GILT' at Zeitz MOCAA.
Participants must make their way down to the Centre for Art Education (CFAE) on level -1 of the museum by 10.10 am. The workshop begins promptly at 10.15am with a visit to the artworks, where applicable.
