The House of J.C. Le Roux, South Africa’s leading destination for sparkling wine, offers a wide selection of tastings that pair its famous bubbly with carefully chosen sweet and savoury treats. Options include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic tastings, allowing everyone to take part in the experience.
Guests can enjoy classics like the Nougat Experience, featuring sparkling wines with handmade nougat, or indulge in the Bubbly and Artisan Chocolate tasting, which matches six wines with fine chocolates. For something richer, the Bubbly and Cheesecake pairing combines three sparkling wines with decadent cheesecakes, while the Biltong pairing offers a savoury South African twist.
A highlight is the Bubbly and Pizza pairing, where four sparkling wines are matched with mini-pizzas prepared by Cucina Di Giovanni, the onsite restaurant. This experience blends Italian flavours with French tradition in a relaxed setting, with full meals also available from the restaurant’s menu.
Tastings are available Tuesday to Sunday, with bookings required for pizza pairings. The cheesecake pairings and pizza pairings are available on Tuesdays only. Only one tasting is permitted per guest, and groups of six or more must book the same experience.
