Experience a winter wine tasting of the Rhône Valley, stretching from the Swiss Alps to the Mediterranean, hosted by Vergelegen Estate's sommelier, Christo Deyzel.
Known for its world-renowned wines, the Rhône Valley, is divided into northern and southern sections, each boasting distinct terroirs and grape varieties. In the north, Syrah reigns supreme, crafting bold, structured reds, while the south is famed for blends featuring Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah, with Châteauneuf-du-Pape standing as a prestigious symbol of the region’s winemaking excellence.
This tasting includes a line-up of 7 wines showcasing the region’s style and grape varieties. Wines from JL Chave, St. Cosme, Chapoutier and Allain Graillot will be tasted among other producers.
Tickets include a glass of Vergelegen Cap Classique, canapes on arrival and the tutored tasting of 7 International wines.
