Artist Camila Andrea presents Inside Out, a solo exhibition at The Bijou in Observatory, bringing together a body of work developed over two years. The pieces combine watercolour, fibre and mixed material, built through an intuitive process of mark-making that moves between painting and stitching.
The exhibition is framed around the idea of visualising an inner mental and emotional landscape, with each piece treated as a visible record of a particular process or decision rather than a planned, predetermined composition. Andrea has described the work as a way of processing emotion and lived experience through the physical act of making, letting each piece take shape on its own terms.
The show opened with a reception on 1 October and remains on view at The Bijou for just over a week. All works in the exhibition are available for purchase.
