Event information
Hundred Percent Café is one of those spaces that resists easy definition; part café, part creative hub, part community living room. With its relaxed, eclectic atmosphere, it’s a place where you can shape your experience depending on what you need that day.
By day, it’s perfect for a quiet coffee, reading, or getting some work done. By afternoon, it shifts into a social space for casual hangouts, games, and conversation. Evenings can bring live music, local art, and a livelier energy, all while maintaining that intimate, welcoming feel.
Owners Michael and Thuly are a dynamic husband and wife team. Michael is a tailor, and some of his designs are available in the cafe, or alterations can be made at My Laundry Lounge next door. Thuly is in charge of the kitchen, and makes a limited range of food each day: much as if you were visiting a friend's house, you get served a generous portion of whatever is in the pot.
Beyond the food and coffee, the café showcases art, clothing, and music from Michael and other nearby makers. There’s a sense of ease to the space; nothing feels forced or overly curated, yet everything comes together naturally.
Hundred Percent also hosts regular chess evenings, music evenings and more.
