Renowned storyteller Cameron Peters leads participants on a journey through the iconic locations and unique history of Hout Bay.
From the harbour’s gorgeous vistas to the village’s story, this walking tour is an opportunity to delve deep into the people and places of this charming suburb. Along the way, participants will be told all about the Royalist street names, indigenous wildlife, and fishermen's tales that make the area so unique. Landmarks include the Mainstream Mall, the Constantia franchise estates, and the Bronze Leopard statue overlooking the town.
Starting at the serene Chapman’s Peak Drive and ending at the iconic Mariner’s Wharf restaurant, this is a slow walking tour through the area fondly referred to as the Republic of Hout Bay. The majority of the experience is a simple walk on the beach, creating a relaxed and social atmosphere for all involved.
R10 of each ticket goes to the Sentinel Ocean Alliance to provide ocean education for youth in Cape Town's coastal communities.
