Event information
This tribute production revisits the catalogue of one of rock’s most enduring bands, offering a live interpretation of The Eagles’ most recognisable material. Performed by a six-piece ensemble of South African musicians, the show focuses on recreating the layered harmonies and melodic structure that defined the original recordings.
The band is a formidable assembly of South African talent: Ant Kinsey on lead vocals and bass, Simon van Dugteren on guitar and vocals, Francois Hardy on vocals and percussion, Simon Kettleborough on keyboards, Greg Schoeman on electric guitar, and Malcolm Cassisa on drums. Together they deliver a faithful yet electrifying recreation of a catalogue that helped make The Eagles one of the best-selling rock acts in history; a band ranked among Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time and whose Greatest Hits album was voted Album of the Century.
Expect all the anthems: Hotel California, Tequila Sunrise, Take It Easy, One of These Nights, and Heartache Tonight, alongside beloved solo material including Don Henley's The Boys of Summer and Glenn Frey's The Heat Is On. An essential night out for rock fans on the Peninsula. Bookings are essential.
