The Nando’s Hot Young Designer Talent Search, facilitated by Clout/SA, has just announced its list of 10 finalists for 2022 as part of its aim to support young emerging talent.
This talent search helps discover new designs for Nando’s restaurants around the globe as well as help young creatives build their careers. As this year’s challenge, the 134 designers who entered were tasked with imagining a condiment unit to display and reflect Nando’s popular range of Peri Peri sauces.
The 10 Hot Young Designer Talent Search finalists were selected by a 17-judge panel and are Nomonde Dubazane, Mbali Maseko, Ryan Pinches, Makhi Mtati, Minenhle Zazi Cira, Daphne Lephoto, Siyanda Magaba, Thabiso Nkonyeni, Lindelani Hlophe, Nikhil Tricam and Nindya Bucktowar (the last two working as a collaboration).
All the finalists are invited to a mentorship session hosted by Clout/SA before they are connected to various mentorship opportunities. The overall winner of this talent search will be announced at the Basha Uhuru youth festival at Con Hill, Johannesburg, later this year.
