Event information
A live music experience that celebrates Cape Town’s alternative scene, Hogwash is a platform for listeners, punk musicians, and rock bands to connect over their love of the underground.
The night starts with an opening set from up-and-coming band Caturra, followed by The Karriers, a relatively new group making a name for themselves with tracks like Daggajol and Karried Away.
One of the headliners is brother-sister duo Jesse & Cheyenne Hill, known as Pink & Yellow, an emerging folk and soul band out of Durbanville, Cape Town. They recently released their first full-length album, titled Laurence Charles. The project spans multiple genres and styles, moving between their more typical stripped-back, vocal-led tracks (like Just a Man) and real, guitar-heavy rock jams (Mother Mary).
The closing set comes from Nani?!, a self-described “post post post punk” group that has steadily been gaining traction over the last few years, performing alongside several Cape Town favourites like Cistamatic and releasing their debut EP, Everyone’s Lookin’ At Me in 2025.
