Known for its rock and blues performances, Hillcrest Quarry is located on Hillcrest Wine Estate in the Durbanville Wine Valley. The Quarry is a huge space which offers an amphitheatre experience for outdoor festivals, and a smaller clubhouse-type venue for weekly music acts.
Frequent performances by the likes of Dan Patlansky and Albert Frost have seen the venue become a prominent feature in the local scene, with other notable acts extending to musicians such as Richard Pryor and Patrick Canovi. Larger festival offerings stretch to everything from electronica, to RAMfest heavyweights, festive Oktoberfest oompah bands and tribute concerts.
