Event information
Guests are invited to step back in time and experience traditional winemaking methods dating back to the 19th century. This hands-on experience offers a rare opportunity to engage with winemaking in its most authentic form.
Guided by skilled vintners, guests hand-sort grape bunches before crushing them underfoot to extract the juice. The process continues as the freshly pressed juice is transferred to fermentation tanks in the historic distillery.
Following the harvest activity, guests enjoy a hearty harvest table lunch featuring heritage dishes from the Cape Winelands. The event includes transportation to the vineyard, participation in the winemaking process, and a meal at the Old Stables Restaurant. Limited to just 12 participants. Advance booking is essential, and guests are advised to dress appropriately.
