Event information
Squash South Africa hosts the Growthpoint SA Nationals at Makers Landing in the V&A Waterfront's Pierhead District, staged inside an all-glass squash court set up at the centre court. The tournament is the country's premier domestic squash event, drawing the top-ranked players from all provinces across five age divisions: under-15, under-17, under-19, under-23, and open men and women.
The 2026 edition is seeded by Hayley Ward of Eastern Province in the women's draw and Dewald van Niekerk, a five-time national champion from SA Country Districts, in the men's draw. Other contenders include Helena Hudson (2nd seed, women), Damian Groenewald, Luhann Groenewald, Ruan Olivier and former champion JP Brits in the men's draw.
The glass court format allows spectators to watch the match from all four sides, offering a close-up view without obstruction. Entry is free throughout the tournament. The main competition rounds and finals take place from 20 to 22 August.
