Glow Neon Run is a family and community fundraising event that transforms from day to night. It offers a food market, entertainment and family fun, culminating in a glow-in-the-dark 5km night run.
Each ticket purchase includes a GLOW T-shirt and glowsticks, as well as a GLOW drawstring bag. Participants are to collect their merchandise between 3pm and 5.30pm on the race day, before the run officially kicks off at 7pm. Neon gear, toys and equipment, as well as food and refreshments are available onsite.
Stalls can also be booked for a R350 fee, with the beneficiaries of the stall bookings being the SPCA Nigel and the JMN Safe House, which has been dedicated to aiding women in need of rehabilitation and counselling, offering various skills courses and life lessons to help elevate their quality of life.
Note that tickets for the market only are also available separately. These general ticketholders are not allowed to participate in the race, nor can they receive any merchandise, but are granted all-day access to the market and entertainment.
