Heirloom Restaurant at Cape Grace Hotel hosts A Game of Grace, a Wimbledon-themed afternoon tea running across the full duration of the Wimbledon Championships and concluding on the day of the Gentlemen's Singles Final.
The set experience includes finger sandwiches, fresh scones, Battenberg cake, and the event's signature edible tennis ball. Beverage service opens with Cape Grace No. 96 gin, followed by a Pimm's and gin trolley and the hotel's own house tea blend, a mix of Cederberg rooibos, spices, and herbs, alongside a selection of scented oolong, flavoured green, and pure white teas. Non-alcoholic iced tea is also available. Live broadcast of Wimbledon matches plays throughout.
Guests are encouraged to dress in classic whites or tennis-inspired attire. The experience is suited to celebrations and group bookings; larger tables can be arranged in advance through the hotel. Advance booking via Dineplan is recommended.
