Event information
Garden-lovers are invited to explore a diverse range of 10 gardens in Franschhoek.
Each year the Franschhoek Gardens pride themselves in offering a diverse and wide range of gardens that cater for various preferences, from small and large charming village gardens to breathtaking expansive farm gardens.
They have something to suite every taste. The goal is to provide fresh and exciting garden experiences and this year’s festival is no exception. The open tour includes one garden that has never been on display before, five that have not been on display for two years or more and four favourites from last year’s festival.
In addition to the gardens on display attendees can experience a delightful array of attractions including tea and scones, local sourdough breads, captivating talks, plants on sale, champagne and live cellist music.
For an added fee on the second festival day, attendees can catch a talk by garden designer, artist, presenter and plantsman, Leon Kluge on his experiences at the Chelsea Flower Show.
