'Firefly', running at the Baxter Theatre in Rondebosch from 18 to 29 October, brings two South African theatre greats to the stage for a story about love and betrayal.
Andrew Buckland and Sylvaine Strike perform in this critically-acclaimed production, which tells the story of two moon-crossed lovers and their journey through love, desire, betrayal and revenge. The play is directed by Toni Morkel and each performance has Tony Bentel accompanying the story on live piano.
This performance plays every night of the week from 7.30pm, and matinees happen on Sunday from 2.30pm. Discounts are available for students, seniors and block bookings.
The Baxter Theatre was founded in 1977 and is the second-largest performing arts complex in Cape Town.
