Festival De Mexico is a celebration born out of love for Mexican food, live music and, of course, tequila. This year, the festival welcomes those who appreciate all things Mexican to the 10th instalment of one of South Africa's biggest tequila and Mexican food events.
Attendees get to party in Montecasino’s Outdoor Event Arena, transformed by colourful décor into the ultimate fiesta setting. The event also features food from Joburg's best Mexican street food vendors, a whole lot of tequila, cocktails by the plenty, a piñata showdown, a chilli eating competition and entertainment in bucket loads, including a Sip-and-Paint experience which can be booked at an added R300 fee.
Expect performances from talents such as local legends DJ Kent, Sun-El Musician and the Mi Casa trio, along with incredible pop band, Rubber Duc. With sponsors like Don Julio, Corona and Dragon, and radio personality, Kyle Cassim as host, attendees are in for a festival extravaganza not to be forgotten.
