Event information
British DJ and producer Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, plays Cabo Beach on the V&A Waterfront, his first South African appearance in more than 15 years. The open-air show is expected to be one of the biggest electronic music events of the Cape Town summer.
Cook is expected to draw on a catalogue that includes Praise You, Right Here, Right Now, The Rockafeller Skank and Weapon of Choice. Across a career of more than three decades he has collected a Grammy, multiple Brit Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.
The first Cape Town date sold out almost immediately, and promoters have since added a second night at the same venue on Wednesday, 16 December. The South African tour also includes a Johannesburg date at James & Ethel Gray Park on 12 December.
The event is for guests aged 18 and over.
