Falling Forward is a personal documentary following Rachel Kolisi through the defining seasons of her life: identity, loss, healing, motherhood, courage and rediscovery. The Cape Town screening at the Artscape Theatre is part of the second national Falling Forward Roadshow, which follows five sold-out cities and more than 4,500 attendees on the first tour. Each screening event includes a women-led marketplace of female-owned businesses and brands, the full documentary, and a live fireside conversation with Rachel Kolisi following the film.
Rachel Kolisi is a South African speaker, businesswoman, philanthropist and co-founder of the Kolisi Foundation, an organisation focused on social impact in areas including food security, education and gender equality. She published a companion memoir, also titled Falling Forward, in March 2026, written in collaboration with author Zibu Sithole and published by Pan Macmillan South Africa.
The event is presented as part of the Artscape Women's Humanity Arts Festival 2026.
