Fairy Glen private game reserve is a Big 5 game reserve surrounded by Proteas and Fynbos vegetation. With a choice of traditional safaris, horseback safaris and nature walks, the Fairy Glen safari experience aims to get visitors as close to the animals as is safe.
The name Fairy Glen originates from a large dragonfly found in their natural habitat in the valley mountain streams. The reserve itself is also home to an African Khoisan Bushmen Rock Art Heritage Site dating back some 6,000 years.
