Event information
Erinvale Estate Hotel and Spa hosts a monthly Wine Society evening series in its Magnolia Social Dining Lounge throughout winter and into spring. Each evening brings together three featured winemakers and presenter Nick Plummer for a guided tasting of up to ten wines, paired with a sharing plate menu from the hotel's culinary team and concluded with a dessert course. The format is informal and interactive, with winemakers moving between tables throughout the evening. Seating is limited to 35 guests per event.
The June event (25 June) features Dornier Wine Estate, showcasing Stellenbosch Golden Triangle terroir wines; Mitre's Edge Wine Estate, a boutique producer of Bordeaux-style red wines situated between Paarl and Stellenbosch; and Sanniesrust Wines, a boutique label by Pieter van der Merwe producing experimental wines inspired by his Free State upbringing.
The July (30 July) event features Kleinhoekkloof, a family-owned boutique wine and olive farm in the Langeberg Mountains with over a century of heritage; La Bri, one of the original Huguenot farms granted in 1688 in Franschhoek, known for its award-winning wines; and Remhoogte, a family-run Stellenbosch estate on the Simonsberg foothills shaped by ancient soils and Atlantic-influenced conditions.
Further Wine Society evenings are scheduled for 27 August, 17 September, and 29 October 2026. Producers for these dates have not yet been announced. Early booking is advised, given the limited capacity.
