The Veld and Sea Edible Flower Springtime Experience is a hands-on immersive floral workshop where the beauty of nature meets culinary creativity.
The workshop is an opportunity to celebrate the essence of spring in a day that’s all about the beauty of flowers. Activities begin with introductions, flower crown creations, wild herbal flower tea, and snacks. After an edible flower and foliage picking session, guests head back to the Veld and Sea Glasshouse for an edible flower talk, botanical drinks, recipe creations, and an edible floral-inspired lunch feast.
Other features of the event include a flower harvesting and identification session, expert insights into culinary uses for seasonal edible flowers, follow-up notes on edible flowers, and a recipe PDF for attendees to take home. Guests should bring along with them a bunch of flowers – bought, grown, or foraged – to add colour, and comfortable shoes for the flower-picking walk.
