Durbanville Hills is offering a hands-on harvest experience, providing wine enthusiasts with an opportunity to witness the winemaking process up close.
The event includes a guided cellar tour where guests can observe the harvest in action, taste fermenting juice directly from the tanks, and sample wines from the barrel. The experience begins with a glass of Durbanville Hills sparkling wine and offers insight into the detailed work behind creating each vintage.
Participants can also engage in a wine blending session, learning how different cultivars complement each other before creating and bottling their own personalised red wine.
The experience concludes with a meal at one of Durbanville Hills’ dining venues. Evening guests will enjoy a two-course dinner at The Tangram, paired with wines from the Collectors Reserve range, while Saturday visitors can opt for a relaxed tapas-style lunch at The Olive Grove, accompanied by a complimentary bottle of wine.
