The Music in the City promises to be a world-class experience featuring music from the internationally acclaimed Drakensberg Boys Choir, also known as Drakies.
Audiences can again look forward to a rich musical line-up showcasing a tapestry of musical genres, ranging from classical masterpieces to contemporary and well-known African and Afro-Pop works, under the baton of the new Drakie conductor, Jacques Linde.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Drakies host guest choirs in the Voices of Unity Choral Celebration concerts, while on Friday and Saturday, the Drakensberg Boys Choir are the only choir on stage for two unique world-class concerts.
