Set in the bustling Spanish seaport of Barcelona, Don Quixote tells the story of beautiful, audacious Kitri and her love for the dashing but poor Basilio.
Her father, however, has more ambitious plans for his headstrong daughter, hoping to marry her off to a wealthy, foppish suitor. In the end love conquers all in a cascade of exhilarating classical showpieces.
