Join the last final chapter of Dash Restaurant Wine Series with an exclusive five-course dinner, perfectly paired with the terroir-driven wines of Anthonij Rupert Wyne.
Dash Restaurant at the Queen Victoria Hotel partnered with different wine estates for its Wine Series dinner, creating a delicious menu to pair with the wines of the featured estate.
The menu starts with a mushroom croquette with truffle pearls, crispy leaks and king oyster mushroom paired with L'Ormarins Private Cuvée.
Course one pairs asparagus, line and stinging nettle velouté with Cape of Good Hope Altima Sauvignon Blanc. Course two pairs a salmon gravadlax with Cape of Good Hope Riebeeksrivier Chenin Blanc and Serruria Chardonnay.
For course three, tuck into a glass of Cape of Good Hope Syrah paired with butter-roasted calf sweetbreads with pan-fried porcini mushroom. Course four pairs beef wing rib with oxtail ragout and smoke bone marrow with Anthonij Rupert Optima
The meal ends with a honeycomb parfait with smoked coconut custard, paired with Jean Roi Rosé.
Arrive before sunset for a drink at the bar, where one can enjoy panoramic views of Table Mountain and the Waterfront before moving to the intimate firelit dining room to enjoy this special dinner, which includes a personal presentation from Newmark’s Group Sommelier, Marlvin Gwese.
