The Cape Town Philharmonic Winter Symphonies concert series consists of three concerts, and the second one in the series is conducted by eminent maestro Thomas Sanderling.
The concert features two of South Africa’s foremost pianists, Megan-Geoffrey Prins and Tinus Botha, in the Concerto for Two Pianos by Mozart. The concert opens with the overture to Der Entfuehrung aus dem Serail by Mozart and concludes with Beethoven Symphony No 7.
Prins has performed extensively as soloist and collaborative artist throughout North America, Europe, Africa, and Hong Kong, while Botha, winner of the UNISA Music Scholarship, performs widely as a soloist and chamber musician locally.
