This is one of very few South African markets run by crafters, exclusively for crafters. The Country Craft Market was established in 1983 and is famous for the quality and variety of the handmade items on offer. Southey’s Vines has been our home for 38 years, making us the oldest craft market in the Helderberg basin. The market is child & pet friendly and wheelchair accessible.
Crafters and artists come together twice a month on Saturday mornings for this true handcraft market. We are always committed to providing the best quality handmade crafts, from full sized-sculptures to small pocket-sized gifts, art, soft furnishings, soaps, home, and garden decor, clothing, jewelry, recycled and up-cycled art, ceramics and glass. There are always new and interesting crafts on offer.
The Country Kitchen provides a place to sit down in the shade and enjoy a light lunch or craft beer while being entertained by one of our talented buskers.
