Comic-Con International - running in conjunction with the Cape Town International Animation Festival (CTIAF) - is a five-day Pop Culture and gaming festival jam-packed with activities, workshops, competitions, and exciting chances to meet international celebrities such as Veronica Taylor (voice of Ash Ketchum in Pokemon).
Every year, Comic Con's exclusive content provides a space to geek out as a family and connect with like-minded people. Look forward to activities from massive eSports tournaments and gaming development programmes, to Cosplay competitions. Get the chance to get celebrity autographs and photo ops or meet international comic creators and get your collectables and comics signed.
The Artist Alley is full of talented local and international artists, where you can admire artwork, get inspired, exchange techniques, and support by purchasing or commissioning artwork from vendors. Or stop by the Unplug Yourself area to enjoy some Table Top games with friends and other enthusiasts.
KidsCon, a proud addition to Comic Con Africa, is South Africa's only kid-focused expo festival, attracting families and parents.
