Event information
The Clanwilliam Wild Flower Show is a well-known annual landscape exhibition showcasing the wonderful flora of the region.
The Biedouw Valley and the Olifants River Valley in and around Clanwilliam come alive each year with vibrant wildflowers following the first rains. This natural spectacle transforms the landscape into a colourful paradise, drawing nature lovers and flower enthusiasts. The valley, infused with floral scents and the gentle rustle of petals, promises a lush bloom this year.
The Clanwilliam Wild Flower Society is dedicated to conserving the region's flora, and has replanted natural flora on previously disturbed land. Every year, local volunteers create a living landscape exhibition in the Flower Church for flower enthusiasts to enjoy.
At the Flower Show, attendees can admire many different species of flowers up close. The show is popular among gardening enthusiasts, florists, and anyone who appreciates the beauty of flowers.
