Origin South Africa presents City Praise 2026 in partnership with Radio Tygerberg 104FM, bringing together the Cape Town Gospel Choir, a full band and symphony orchestra for an afternoon of contemporary Christian worship and praise at the Cape Town City Hall. Guest artist Rouchelle Liedemann, a Cape Town-based Christian recording artist, TV and radio presenter, and regular soloist with the Cape Town Gospel Choir, performs as part of the programme.
Origin South Africa is a non-denominational Christian non-profit organisation founded in 2005 as a daughter ministry of Origin Scotland, based in Durbanville. The organisation promotes unity across Cape Town's churches through music-based events, and founded the Cape Town Gospel Choir in 2010. City Praise events at Cape Town City Hall have previously sold out.
The event is designed as a family occasion and is open to all. A donor ticket system allows attendees to add a ticket to their order for those who cannot afford entry; those who are unable to afford a ticket may also contact Origin South Africa directly to be placed on a waiting list. Tickets are also available at the box office from one hour before the event starts.
