Boschendal invites families and friends to spend a long, unhurried afternoon on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day on the Werf lawns, beneath the oak trees. The picnic baskets are filled with farm-baked breads, seasonal salads and festive treats, to unpack and linger over.
There is a basket for everyone, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and children’s picnics available. Guests collect their baskets between 12pm and 2pm and settle on the lawns. The farm’s Tree House playground and pump track are close by for children.
Book at least 24 hours ahead to save a place under the oaks. The picnics are weather-dependent, and external food and drink are not allowed. Bookings are made through Dineplan.
