The award-winning Broadway and West End musical is taking Cape Town by storm once again after receiving rave reviews and nightly standing ovations throughout all previous sold-out seasons in both the mother city and Johannesburg.
'Chicago' tells the story of a nightclub singer, a double-murderess, a smooth-talking lawyer and a cell block of sin, unfolding to show-stopping songs including ‘All that Jazz’, ‘Cell Block Tango’ and ‘Mister Cellophane’. Award-winning South African musical director, Kevin Kraak (The Lion King, Chicago, My Fair Lady) leads an 11-piece orchestra for the South African production.
'Chicago' has everything that makes Broadway and the West End great – a universal tale of fame, fortune and all that jazz; one foot-tapping song after another, the most sensational dancing, and a sharply sophisticated set which incorporates the live orchestra.
