The Cederberg Astronomical Observatory invites all to a magical Saturday evening, surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Cederberg and under some of the darkest skies in South Africa.
It is a night dedicated to inspiring curiosity, sparking imagination, and fostering a deeper connection to the cosmos with enthusiastic attendees. The evening starts with an opening presentation, providing guests with a sense of the scale of the Universe as they begin a journey into space and into the past.
After the presentation, guests are taken on a guided tour of the Southern Skies and given the opportunity to view clusters, nebulae and galaxies through telescopes. By the evening's end, attendees leave with a greater understanding and appreciation of the vastness and magnificence of the universe.
