Skaters of all skill levels can dust off their skates as the Capegate Shopping Centre’s Ice Rink is all set to greet happy young feet (ages 3 to 13 years only) these summer school holidays.
Situated in Bridge Court near Entrance 4, the specially created rink measuring 15 x 8 meters, and made with real ice, offers young skaters the perfect way to beat the winter blues and stay active.
Family members can relax and watch the fun from the nearby seating area, however, adults are welcome to assist the little ones on the ice, if necessary. The centre’s highly skilled friendly staff are also on-hand, keeping a watchful eye on the ice capades and lending a helping hand if needs be.
Though the children are able to rent their skates, they are still required to bring their own thick socks to wear inside their boots. Tickets are available online or at the door, but since it's always a popular attraction, booking online and in advance is recommended.
