The Cape Town Carnival once again brings together almost 50 000 spectators to the streets of Cape Town for an evening of fun and dancing in celebration of its 15th anniversary.
Imagine a realm where the everyday and the extraordinary blend seamlessly – a technicolour savannah, a deep sea brimming with mythical creatures, a whimsical world made entirely of sweets, and vibrant landscapes of feathers and fynbos.
This annual spectacle is a melting pot of culture and heritage in a colourful display of beautiful costumes, incredible floats, fantastic music and captivating dance performances featuring more than 1500 dancers - drawing visitors and locals to the world-renowned Mother City.
The 15th Anniversary celebration is set to feature special guests including the DHL Stormers, Paxton, The Rio Queen, Bravo, YoungstaCPT, the KFM94.5 crew, and The Drag Cartel.
Although it is free to enjoy the carnival, there are limited paid seating options including Red Bus seating, along with some VIP options.
