Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Cape Town.
This concert is in tribute to seven-time Grammy Award-winning British pop-rock band, Coldplay. Consisting of vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer and percussionist Will Champion, the band has been producing anthems that have transcended geographical boundaries for decades now.
The musical tribute is performed by the Selene Quartet and is dedicated to their biggest hits, with the programme featuring titles such as 'Clocks', 'Shiver', 'Speed of Sound', 'Trouble', 'Fix You', 'Paradise', 'Something Just Like This', 'Yellow', 'My Universe', 'The Scientist', and 'A Sky Full of Stars'.
