Event information
Homegrown acts pull the crowds to Café Roux’s small stage. Doubling up as a restaurant-cum-bar, playlists at this 60-seater venue cover everything from acoustic folk, to pop rock and reggae. As many bands come with their fanbase in tow, the sets here are usually focused, with solid support from the audience.
Located at The Farm Village in Noordhoek, Café Roux is firmly entrenched as a music hotspot in this coastal greenbelt. It has earned a reputation for supporting local music, and is a prominent fixture on Cape Town’s live music scene.
Solo performers hold their own on a stage often housing full ensembles, making it perfect for album releases and other launch events. An in-house PA system also enables touring bands to pencil in Café Roux for a friendly Cape pitstop.
Outdoor Summer Session Shows are suitable for the whole family. Tickets ensure a seated table under a Bedouin tent close to the stage. Bring your own blanket for grass seating. Café Roux activities include movie screenings, comedians and other highlight acts. Open for breakfast and lunch daily, as well as dinner on show nights.
