An art hub in central Muizenberg, Blue Planet Fine Art is not only a signature gallery for Koos de Wet and Anastasia Sarantinou, it also offers a studio space and facilitated art sessions six days a week. They have regular drawing courses led by Christine Crowley, plus art workshops, arty birthday parties events, and exhibitions.
Blue Planet Fine Art holds creative projects and activities for teens and tweens. These include face painting, fashion design, T-shirt stencilling, DIY jewellery classes, rock painting, or simply creative techniques on how to jazz up your jeans.
They host an open studio evening once a month on the first Wednesday of each month, so that the public can meet the artists and see the work produced here. The gallery opens a window onto the Muizenberg art scene, and offers anything from abstract art to pop art by local artists who you're unlikely to find represented elsewhere.
