Unlike most tasting rooms, the Tasting House at Blaauwklippen hosts its guests in a series of rooms.
Moving away from a traditional pairing, visitors can look forward to ‘leisurely, mostly savoury’ pairings. Seasonal wine pairings are perfectly harmonized by Blaauwklippen’s winemaker, Narina Cloete together with the new chefs from Cucina di Giovanni. Options from the avant-garde wine and food pairing menu include a pizza pairing, Meze pairing and vegetarian pairing. For those looking for a sweeter pairing, the red wine and fudge, or wine and chocolate pairings are likely to appeal. In addition, the ‘house’ offers small plate meals, which allows for a truly leisurely experience.
