Event information
The Bottelary Hills Renosterveld Conservancy (BHRC) would like to announce that mountain bike permits are now available to purchase from the Bottelary website and are valid until the end of 2022.
The permits allow bikers to access the 130km trail network, which traverses the wine farms and conservation areas of the region and with different trails suitable for different fitness levels. These permits also include free access to the Polkadraai Bike Park which offers a kiddies’ track, pump track, flow, skills trails, fun line and more.
Riders can also bundle the BHRC permit with the Cape Wine Lands permit for access to even more trails, which can be purchased from the Cape Wine Lands trails website (www.WineLandsTrails.com). TrailFun events for runners are also hosted in the BHRC regularly.
The Bottelary Hills Renosterveld Conservancy is a non-profit organisation that was founded by private landowners and wine farmers in the area to protect endangered fauna and flora species, such as the critically endangered Swartland Granite Renosterveld.
