The Best Day Out festival returns to the Company's Garden for its third edition, bringing together live bands, DJs, food and craft drink vendors, market stalls and family-focused activities in one of Cape Town's most central outdoor spaces.
Since its debut, the festival has grown from an initial edition into a bigger showcase of local creative culture, moving to the Company's Garden for its second year with support from Mission for the Inner City as a creative collaborator. The format combines live music programming with a market-style layout of food and drink stalls, alongside a dedicated children's play area.
The festival is positioned as a family-friendly, all-ages event, with children under 12 admitted free and no minors permitted without an accompanying adult. Alcohol sales require proof of ID.
Tickets are limited each year and have previously sold out ahead of the event date.
