Art is Art is a South African platform for talented local artists, opened by Reno Horn.
The gallery aims to create a space within which both emerging and established artists can enjoy exposure and international reach, without the costly barriers that inhibit the success of South African talent.
Reno Horn trained in London as a hair and make-up artist and became a self-taught photographer. He’s used each talent to work in print and film both locally and abroad with clients that include The Evening Standard, MTV and fashion designer Julien MacDonald. Upon his return to South Africa in 2008, he set up his own photographic studio and gallery where he held several exhibitions before becoming the founder of Art is Art.
