Event information
Antoinette's Cookery classes are held in a casual, fully equipped purpose-built kitchen accommodating a maximum of 16 participants at a time for a relaxed, intimate cooking experience. Founder and owner, Antoinette Coetzer is a young and innovative chef who combines a thorough classical understanding of ingredients and techniques with modern trends.
The cooking school hosts various classes accommodating different skill levels and tastes. There are Specialty Classes, which cover various recipes including how to make sourdough bread, ciabatta, croissants, cinnibons, hot cross buns, and many more. There are also Cook and Craft sessions, which take place once a month on a Saturday morning and allow participants to make their own light lunch and sip delicious wine.
Other classes include Themed Culinary Classes, a Kitchen Skills course, a Learn to Cook for Young Adults course, a Domestic Helper Day to Day cooking course presented by Chef Joey Setshedi, and finally, the Weber Grilling Academy for various grilling recipes.
During these cooking adventures, participants learn to cook multiple delectable recipes under the careful supervision of the Chefs and their assistants. Once the dishes are plated, the participants get to feast on their culinary creations in the cooking school's beautifully renovated dining area.
