AAFRICAA (pronounced ‘Africa’) is a lifestyle store for curated contemporary African design in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. The store offers a dynamic retail platform for the continent’s leading contemporary brands and designers, with products ranging from a carefully chosen selection of fashion and jewellery to homeware and art, all displayed in a serene and relaxed environment designed to make all feel welcome.
With an emphasis on crafted and artisanal luxury, AAFRICAA is a place where great in-house collections, ever-evolving exhibitions and new collaborations are continually explored in celebration of the creative energy of the African continent.
The store's homeware offering includes graphic Africa-themed posters and traditional wire artworks, locally crafted baskets, bedding, cushions and throws, rugs, wax-print table linen, ornaments, vases, tableware, serveware and glassware.
Overlooking the water, with spectacular views of Table Mountain, AAFRICAA can be found in Alfred Mall – which also hosts other iconic African lifestyle brands – located in the unique heritage district of Cape Town’s popular V&A Waterfront neighbourhood.
Alfred Mall is a short distance from The Watershed. A minute’s walk from Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre, it can be accessed via North Quay, Alfred Basin, or the newly pedestrianised Alfred Square.
