Event information
Operating for over 18 years in a converted semi-detached Observatory building, this sushi restaurant draws a loyal local following from Observatory's student, academic and NGO communities.
It centres on a horseshoe conveyor belt where chefs prepare maki, nigiri, sashimi and salads throughout the day. The layout offers three seating zones: a bar facing the belt, an interior dining room with tables, and a small courtyard.
The menu focuses on traditional Japanese preparations alongside Chinese and Thai dishes. Salmon, tuna and prawn feature prominently in rolls and platters, with vegetarian options including bean curd nigiri, pickled radish rolls and seaweed salads. Japanese sake, Chinese wine and Tsingtao beer are included in the drinks menu.
