With the kids school break in full swing, the Norval Foundation Learning Centre is hosting an exciting Holiday Programme running from 14 December 2024 to 10 January 2205.
The dynamic series of workshops are all designed to keep the little ones engaged, inspired, and creative during the holiday break. Think Christmas Card Making, DIY Christmas Crackers, Clay Ornament Making, Plant Crafting, and much more to help cater to a wide range of interests.
Here are all the Learning Centre workshops for summer 2024
Mixed media card-making classes
Kids can unleash their festive creativity with a fun and creative Christmas card-making adventure. Dive into a magical mix of materials—sparkly glitter, colourful paper, cute fabrics, playful foam, sturdy cardboard, and, of course, plenty of glue to hold the holiday spirit together. The finished handmade cards will sprinkle joy and something personal for everyone’s festive season.

Clay Christmas decorations
Norval Foundation’s Learning Centre will teach kids how to craft their own Christmas tree ornaments with colourful air-dry clay in this guided session. Shape, mould, and decorate unique designs. These handmade ornaments will add a festive touch to your tree at home for that one-of-a-kind touch while making new memories.

Craft a charming Frosty the Snowman acrylic artwork
Get to grips with the art of acrylic painting and craft a charming Frosty the Snowman work and the cutest winter wonderland scenes. The class is perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike, following hands-on help with each step. The end result is an adorable holiday masterpiece to treasure or gift.

Learn how to make Christmas Crackers from scratch
