The WXV series is part of World Rugby’s clear mission: to raise the profile and competitiveness of women’s 15s by providing the global platform between Women’s Rugby World Cups to increase the reach, impact, and value of the sport, growing the game as a whole.
South Africa again hosts the six-team second-tier WXV 2 competition in the Western Cape, with the Springbok Women joined in the competition by Scotland, Japan, Australia, Wales and Italy.
Matches take place on the weekends of 27/28 September, as well as 4/5, and 11/12 October. WXV 1 will be hosted in Canada, while the host for WXV 3 is Dubai.
27 Sept sees South Africa vs Japan.
