Cape Town City Ballet continues its 90th Anniversary celebrations with ‘Winter Dances’, a programme of exciting creations and existing works.
The company dance flat out in a range of styles including a creation by international star and choreographer of the highly successful ‘Polarity’, Kenneth Tindall, a new work by David Nixon CBE, existing works making their premiere on the South African stage by Mariana Rodrigues and Capetonian Mlindi Kulashe.
Cape Town City Ballet is also restaging a piece by Garry Trinder that hasn’t been seen since 1993.
As a special addition, Royal Ballet Principal dancers Fumi Kaneko and Vadim Muntagirov are set to perform a new duet at the 29th, 30th and 31st August evening performances only.
