Event information
Vintage with Love Lunch for Literacy is a special event that promotes the love of pre-loved items and the importance of literacy.
Established in 2013, Vintage with Love collects gently worn clothing to sell and support literacy charities nationwide. The organization has raised over R8 million for charities such as Shine, Realema, Community Assisted Schools, and the Nuwehoop School for the Deaf in Worcester.
The event includes a delightful luncheon with delicious food, fine wine, and great company. This year's theme "Flower Power" represents the enduring compassion and community spirit of Vintage with Love.
As part of the commitment to literacy, attendees are asked to bring a bag of gently worn clothes for donation, which supports literacy causes across the country.
The Lunch for Literacy also serves as a heartfelt celebration honouring the life of Sue Sacks, a beloved member of the Vintage with Love Family.
